Hillary Clinton could just become an independent and run for President in November. That would be so much easier and she would have a chance of being president.

If Senator Clinton ran as an independent as you have suggested that she do, that would mean that both Senator Obama and Senator Clinton would be on the ballot. This would split the Democratic vote between the two and would allow for Senator McCain to win in would could end up being a landslide. The best thing for Senator Clinton to do if not the vice-president would be to help unite her party and campain for Senator Obama.

But a lot of her supporters would still vote for her and she MIGHT have a chance of being president
The democrat party will never be the same after this bogus nominating process. There are many democrats out there that will never vote for an Obama ticket, and in contrast there are many out there that will never vote for a Clinton ticket. The dumocrats have destoyrd the best chance they have had in over 20 years to take control of all three branches of Government. But you know, considering the candidates, divided government may be the best thing for this nation.

Report Offensive CommentIt's just so improbable alexon, that it probably can not be argued as a viable option or a reasonable outcome.

Report Offensive CommentThere is practically no chance for Hillary to pull a Lieberman, however I must admit I'd love it if she tried, not her, just it

Report Offensive CommentShe has lost the popular vote when ALL the votes are counted...remember those pesky things called facts? They tend to get in the way of the reality that the Clintons seem to live within. If she is unable to win a majority of the popular vote then she would fall into third place in a 3 way race unless of course she could beat John McCain....and there are those pesky facts again.....many republicans voted for her because they felt she would be the easier candidate to run against McCain so in a general election? Her votes would fall even shorter.

Report Offensive CommentRun, Hillary, run!!!!! She could split things up so badly that the electoral college might actually have to pick the president.... That would set up all kinds of great debates.

Report Offensive CommentI support the idea of Hillary running for President as an independent, this will help Republicans win again. Then we can enjoy another 4 years in the Oval Office. She must help us split the Democrat votes. Nice!

Report Offensive CommentPlease keep it clean. Bad words will get filtered, and offensive comments will be removed.
She would also be permanently ostracized from the Democrat party, which would impact her career long-term.
