Papal Paypal: a concept in search of a rationale.

1. Weekly Tithes, while it is practical for everyone to tithe from your home, its only a matter of time before the convenience would unmask that the tithes are really just obligatory giving, or guilt giving, for what it is (a superficial symbolic gesture that allows members of the church to feel they matter in a cosmic chain of events), but tithing would stop because the feeling would no longer be the same if no-one saw them giving, and you just can???t have a Catholic church with no members tithing so that must be avoided.
3 would likely be crushed by anti-establishment types and lead to the papal paypal being hacked, so no usage of it could be officially sanctioned for fear of backlash
and 4??? hmm??? that has to be somehow against the law. ??? so assuming supporting pedophile priests is illegal... the best choice must be 2.
Supporting reasons:
-Pay for your sins from your comfy computer chair! (with arm rests!)
-Direct fund transfers save you the time of writing checks!
-No more bouncing church checks because you overspent your beer allowance Friday night!
-You can make up for your blasphemy on message boards instantly!! (yess)
This year, close to 90 ships have been seized in and around the Gulf of Aden, more than triple the number of 2007
