Us English should be able to use this website

WE have just as much as right to use this as you, at no point does it say that this site is for americans only

You have created a non-existent argument. At no point does this website prevent contributions from those living in Britain or, as far as I'm aware, anywhere else.

However when creating debates, or engaging in the ones that are active, people from the UK (and even Canada) should remember that this is an American website with a user base that is primarily American. It is run by an American publication (which divides most political stories into 'The US' and 'The World') and derives its name from the two major American political parties. An American bias (in terms of both population and topics) is neither surprising nor an example of an anti-British agenda.

Since you are completely free to use this website I do not accept your argument, you are free to generate arguments on British issues, though if you do so you should understand that the majority of the voters will be unfamiliar with the details or may be utterly disinterested, and you should tailor your argument accordingly to inform and interest them. Do a little bit of research and you can also engage in American based discussions, which can also be rewarding.

6 months remaining for the next argument...

I just figured I'd pick it up as I think what's being said is very silly and disappointing as I have never felt unwelcome on this website based on my location or nationality.

Ironically, you didn't even use correct English grammar/syntax. You're arguing that "We English" -- not "Us English" -- should be able to use this site, as you would not say, "Us should be. . . ."

I totally agree with Tickers: well said. If people don't have a basic understanding of American politics and issues - or are unprepared to acquire one - then don't post anything!

I agree with tickers. Fair enough some of the British are politically active and want to learn more about the American political system, or even desire to express their thoughts on a debate website. but please would you take into account that the majority of the people using this is American, the arguements should only concerned with American politics, or even remotely related by foreign interventions which include the US. bringing up topics about UK policies is pointless. make a Labour-Conservative website if you want that.

This is an American politics site. I am British and use this site, if I do not know about the American politics specifically I use British examples or arguments that apply to politics accross the world such as ethical isses eg. abortion/discrimination etc

A group of stupid teenagers have got together and are collectively ruining this site, there debates lack any intellgence and are given the english regulars of this site a bad name.

Whatever, use it if you want, debate British politics if you want, noone is stopping you. just don't expect Americans to jump head over heels into your debate about Cameron vs. Brown.

Coalticue Bringing up british politics is not 'pointless'. Would this same though apply to Canadian politics? If you hate people discussing British politics that much then start an American politics debate. You haven't had a single debate and yet you make the most noise about the British people using this debating site.
