CNN and the other networks continuously talk about trivial matters as if they were matters of significant consequence. They use the word "change", "experience", and "character" as if they are the platforms fo the candidates themselves!
Intelligent journalists, people with degrees in political science, and those whose job it is to report on policy are reduced to giggling about Hillary's cackle, feign outrage and purposefully misrepresent Rev Wright, make warrantless, unfounded claims about winners and losers of primaries before they actually occur and tally the votes, and ultimately serve to degrade the political process by uncritically reporting candidates wives, family, and useless trivia while ignoring the issues, platforms, and true POLITICS of the matter.
This is dangerous for the continuation of a democratic system, a system which thrives on vibrant debate of policy issues and the consequences of them, a system which requires an intelligent and informed electorate in order to make the best decisions for the republic.
By failing to report time and time again to encourage substantive debate, the mainstream press ironically serve as anathema to those who hunger to be informed

Although the point can simply be summed up as,"We're getting a lot more dumber, and that is bad", and this face-off is sort of useless because it's blindingly true, let's just say stupidity provides laughter...
