All those who enjoyed this site, especially at the hight of the battle for the Democratic party nomination between Hillary and Barack, I think its time for the great Exodus. The problem is that not all of us are moving to the same destination. Let us share a couple of sites we can meet at. The interesting thing about that is that we could change our ways and adopt different attitudes.
I do think that E-D was killed by the Hillary's defeat. The race is not so interesting any more. Its all quiet now. Maybe closer to November, things will heat up again. This site will be declared officially dead after the loser cencedes after November.
NB: THIS IS NOT A DEBATE, JUST A CHAT ABOUT SHARING OTHER DEBATE SITES.

I have no idea where people have gone to debate. List some sites here if you happen to find them....I will take a look as well.
And Florida you have been in only two debates not including this one, you honestly can't say that "everyone" is now gone and complain about it, when you have hardly been here.

Report Offensive Commenttheyoungdem makes a good point. plus Florida has CLEARLY not seen the debate between myself and swoding or whatever. it ended. with me winning 20-16 or 20-18. That's clearly a large amount of ppl voting for the position they agree with regardless of those debating. swoding, brought up a new topic to debate. i accepted that it helped bring more ppl interested in the site. All ppl need to do is bring up more and newer topics to debate that ppl would be interested in. Just like Obama, he's new and young so ppl are interested. We need to create an "obama" style debate that's new and different to help bring ppl back to the site or attract more ppl. i wonder who manages this site because they are doing a horrible job. There are many flaws.

Report Offensive CommentSimply put: Crappy topics = no one interested. Interesting topics = people interested. I am willing to argue things I don't even really believe just to get a discussion going that stretches my thought pattern.

Report Offensive CommentMark, you have a lot to learn about the history of this site. High voting totals don't usually mean what they seem. I agree with Nikolai in that the debate topics pretty much ran dry, as new users would come in and push debates that regulars had seen 3 times already. Plus, summer arrived, and people spent less time in front of a computer. Mix all of that with the fact that the debates began losing a lot of substantive quality over the recent months, with the likes of the British invasion, etc. No offense to Brits in general, just regarding several of those who bombarded the site with uninteresting debates against each other, etc.) The cherry on top, of course, was the repeated cheating on votes/multiple user names for individuals. I suspect things might heat back up after the conventions, and toward November, but we'll see. I thought someone was designing a DigitalDebater site. Oh well, keep me posted.

Report Offensive Commenthttp://www.polihood.com/groups/4/ Elephant-Donkey.com -- the political debate site TIME forgot. We have seen debates extend beyond their alloted space and dribble down into the comments. We have experienced abandoned debates without a provision for our default win. We have survived sock puppet accounts that rig the vote and mess up leader board results. We have clicked every link on thbe site to find a way to contact TIME about the site -- and found nothing. Yes, we are the Elephant-Donkey Refugees -- on Polihood.com

Do you define "Everyone" as previous regulars? Many people come and leave, but that isn't the characteristic of a failing site, that is a characteristic of an average site. People get excited for something new, then after using it for a while people start to get bored of it. They way I see it, many people still debate on this site. P.F.C., you have been in only one debate other than this one, so I don't even know how you can think people have left this site. This site is still good.
