A party that has totally tried to morphe its image as if it is anti-bush. It sounds as though chicubie has a jones for ignorance...she thinks that it's the people who are making the difference....well I guess some of that is correct in that the wealthiest 3% of the people are controlling the rest of us and our economy...but I don't think walking through with a sense of fragility is going to cost Obama anything. I think it's going to be the same 3% and a bunch of extraordinarily uneducated and unintelligent people...oh that's the republican party....who will make the difference. alright, this is getting really dumb, revolution, there is no need to call people by things. this is a political debating site, and we expect people to act mature. also you guys aren't talking about the issue here. Who said USA Pit Bull was a conservative? he's been defending obama on my debate a who bunch of times! lol. i don't really care what you guys think of each other, but your basically accusing the conservatives on this site(the very very very few of them) that they won't take responsibilities of their party's "destruction" of this country. I'm a long time democrat, but i also recognize that you can't accuse "their party" simply because things are going bad. Just because a republican president launched a crazy war, doesn't mean it's party members support it. And even though i'm a dem, lets take into account how the dems have screwed things up! They still haven't pulled us out of the war because they know their presidential candidate could use that as leverage, they haven't solved any of our problems. They just finished a "compromise" for energy but it wasn't much of a "compromise". They haven't done much for the economy and took a 5 week break a while ago while everyone was suffering. So let's not act like the dems have been saving the world for us and the republicans have been destroying it. : D Vote Obama!

also the whole statement about "the fundementals of our economy are still strong" was blown out of proportion. Obama has been using it against him as a political ploy. And he is right you know. Our fundementals are still strong. Just not the things supported by the fundementals of our and all economies. Maybe if you guys knew more about economics you would know that.

Thank you for seeing my argument. It proves my point on WHY THE FOUNDING FATHERS INTENDED FOR ONLY INTELLIGENT CITIZENS TO VOTE. And there worst fear has come true... Our country has been divided into two factions. If Mccain were a Democrat and Obama a Republican there would maybe be a 5% difference in vote JUST because of their party NOT their beliefs

So does this mean we can have a mass war crimes trial and all members of congress who voted for the war will be punished for the murders that they supported? Why stop there, how about all the people who voted for the members of congress who voted for the war...they should accept responsibility too right? Also, all those who didn't vote should stand trial as well because they might have tilted the balance but they didn't. This has got to be at least accessory to first degree murder right? So we're talking some serious prison time for 90% of the country.
