I'm sure that most of the (more informed than your typical citizen) denizens of this site watched Romney's convention speech; he went about 'quizzing' the audience on whether the specific actions of our government would be classified as 'liberal' or 'conservative', he helped them answer 'liberal', and he concluded that we should, "Throw out the big-government liberals and elect John McCain and Sarah Palin."
Of course, the "big-government liberals" whom McCain's team would be replacing are people who, approximately four years earlier, at a convention not unlike the one at which he spoke, stood up on stage calling themselves 'conservatives', just as McCain does. In fact, they're people whose policy has been staunchly supported by McCain throughout their 8-year tenure.
So, that begs the question, is it ridiculous to assume that, by Romney's standard, electing McCain could well result in electing a candidate who would be more accurately described as a 'liberal'?
Of course, you can describe Barack Obama as a 'liberal', but his supporters are AWARE of that! Try to paint him as a 'conservative' and you'll be found wanting.

You are crazy. I win.

Yuk yuk yuk.
Sorry, but in order to "win" on that tack, you'll need to prove that I'm "crazy". If I had said, "CALL me crazy, or did Romney etc...", then you may have found a *cough* CLEVER loophole, but no, I didn't say that.
