We cant have president who agrees with George Bush 90% of the time.

George Bush in the last 8 years has runied our goverment. He has keep troops in Iraq, forcing them to stay away from they families to fight in a pointless war. Also under his control he allowed the stock market drop making 2008 known as the worst econmic crisis since the great depression. Electing MCcain is the same to electing a second George Bush.

I'm not sure whether to respond to your statement or to your arguement. so I'll do both

Bush has during his 8 years attempted to streamline some of the more cumbersome bureaucracies in the government and turn them into more agile, reactive and efficient organizations

Bush sees the big picture. Iraq isn't just Iraq. Bringing the war on terror to a new front and forcing Al-Qaeda's hand into making Iraq the premeir battlefront, takes the initiative away from the terrorists, puts them on the defensive and turns Iraq into a make-or-break fight for them and it looks more like they're closer to breaking than making it

Stocks rise and fall all the time. I really don't think that is the market you should be so worried about, especially if you're trying to make W look bad and sound knowledgeable about current events

You provide no support for McCain equaling W

We can't afford a president who does nothing. Obama voted present more often than he voted for or against. He has no legislative accomplishments. He'll meet w/ openly hostile leaders w/o preconditions meaning he'll do nothing. A leader who makes some bad decisions is much better than the leader who does nothing

Obama is going to do pleantly. He is going to go into thw whit house with new and fresh ideas. That is what the Usa need, something new. Electing MCain would just being bring the same thing into the white house. So here is a new question for you- Do you want a presidant who is going to do new things that will help our country or a presidant who will make bad decisions.

Sorry I really don't think Obama has really said or done anything new. He talks about change, as does every canidate. Health care he stole from Hillary. Talk of taking politics out of issues is a gimmick especially coming from Obama. He gained the party nomination as a frontman for Moveon.org, now he's extended his timetable to almost the same timeframe McCain proposes. He's done absolutely nothing during his 2 year stint as a senator, except of course do some vote-pandering via earmarked waste.

McCain's new ideas; comprehensive immigration reform, the surge, campaign finance reform, removing russia from the G8 (why was it even in the G7+Russia in the first place?), eliminating pork barrel spending, gas tax holiday, comprehensive energy production (oil+wind+solar+nuclear+biofuel+anything else we can use to produce energy)

once again you fail to support your claim that McCain equals W

in answer to your proposed "new" question, based off what I've just outlined, yes I would prefer someone w/ new ideas over someone w/ no ideas. that's why I support McCain. If I wanted to support someone w/ new ideas, there's absolutely no way I even contemplate voting for Obama

Let the people of the USA speak! Obama is leading in the polls as we speak, so the people think that he is going to bring change not MCain. This election is to benfit the people of America and the people of this nation believe that Obama can bring change. So you can bring up your information and your wrongs about Obama that aren't true but in end it is what our country wants and right now it's the ticket of Obama and Biden.

No, this is a debate, not a polling station. YOU speak and actually try to convince anyone that "We can't have a president who agrees w/ George Bush 90% of the time".

Ooh Obama's leading in the polls, hej guess what, last week McCain was leading in the polls, and after the debates it's likely He'll retake the lead again.

My information which isn't true, hmm... well, if that's the only thing you have to say to make your point it looks like you just buy into hype and talk and ignore reason and logic. After a rebuttal like that I'm so convinced that I need to go out and start campaigning for Obama. Heh-heh... yeah

in the end?! are you an oracle or a prophet? what's all this talk about in the end?! who are you to say what is inevitable and what can't be?

Obama#1fan - Let's ignore your screen name on the off chance that you're being facetious rather than demotic, and let's look at how you present yourself linguistically. You write "He has keep troops in Iraq, forcing them to stay away from they families..." You don't appreciate the value of using correct grammar. (That's not the wife of your Grandpa, knowmsayin?) Morg gets my vote for the lack of gutter English.

Well morg I have to say I completely disagree and am actually dumbfounded that your really delusional enough to believe in our president, the stupidest in history but you will be happy to hear that you argue better than OBAMA #1FAN which may have slight mental retardation. So sir you get my vote. OBAMA#1FAN, campaign ads should not be your sole source of information.

just for your information, obamafan, the majority of the decisions made by congress are done so unanimously and about rather trivial matters. I can list for you up to six important differences between McCain and Bush based on his voting record. You likely can't list one instance in which Obama went against his party on a serious vote. (for reference, he has voted with his party 97% of the time, and let's remember that the Democratic congress is even less popular than Bush right now).

Ya he voted with his party but his party did not screw up EVERYTHING. At least not totally. They are part of the problem too.

his party is just as guilty.

Obamas#1Fan I really want to vote for what you stand for... I agree with the principle you are trying to fight for... but your presenting very, very poor arguments.... I don't mean this as an insult... but how old are you? If you want to win any debate you need more than passion. Passion is a great tool but substance and fact are just as important. You could also benefit by spelling things correctly and using good grammar. Try researching EVERY fact you are going to state, then cite the url so that we can all verify you aren't just adding your own opinions to the debate. Your hearts in the right place, just work on the debating skill's. Good luck.

Iraq was an innovative way to put the terrorists on the defensive? Wow. If by that you mean letting the terrorists in afganistan still hang around, bringing terrorists to Iraq, letting them kill Americans for 3 years, and then put them on the defensive, your right. Bravo.
