Even if they didn't have an affair, the NYTimes makes a pretty compelling case that Iseman had inappropriate access to McCain.

Yes, the NYTimes makes a compelling case, but to question our nation???s leaders morality without fact is just harassment. Politicians put their lives out there for everyone to see day in and day out. Yet, they are doing their best to meet the needs of the American people. Maybe the news media should take a look at their morals and start reporting more of the good that is being done and less of the who???s doing who in America...let's get back to reporting the facts without the embellishments or accusations.
Also, McCain has platformed against lobbyists for a good portion of his career, saying lobbyists should not have this kind of access to policy-makers. No matter what the personal relationship was, this kind of double-standard should be talked about openly and not brushed aside, like McCain's campaign is trying to do.

For a candidate like McCain, who's campaign is completely based on morals, his relationship with this woman is completely inappropriate.
