Regardless of who wins the Democratic nomination, Hillary Clinton is the best possible candidate

With her well known war against the drug companies in the privatization of health care, and her time as first lady; Hillary has shown that she not only knows how Washington works, but also how to get things done. None of the other candidates have gone head to head with the drug companies. She has held the private counsel of her husband as the president of the United States, and held a senate seat for New York; a major state.

I don't think her time as first lady can be seen as a serious credential to be president, but i'll wait to see where you go with this debate.

Correct me if I'm wrong: You say that Sen. Clinton has gone "head to head with drug companies." However, isn't it also true that she's taken more contributions from pharmaceutical companies than any candidate from any party? If so, Clinton is actually worse than the other candidates. Still, I have to admit that I'm slightly partial (see icon), but I want to see how this plays outs, so I'll refrain from voting for now.

The only reason why she's the best is because she will lose easier to McCain.

Regardless of her positions, Hillary is representative of everything that's wrong with Washington; taking positions based upon political expediency (such as a thumbs-up for the war in Iraq), partisan politics ('I'll fight the Republicans every step of the way') etc and so on. I'm dismayed by the lack of substance in Obama's rhetoric, yet he has largely avoided the win-at-all-costs mentality that characterizes the Clinton camp. Then there's the simple fact that a second Clinton, following a second Bush, creates dynastic issues that simply should not be a part of American politics.

it's the 'knows how Washington works' part that bothers me. Washington needs to work *differently* - that's the entire point.

Bitterwords? Lets hope, for the sake of the country, that bitter Clintonistas don't play the "Nadar 2000" role in this year's election. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face? How about gouging out your eyes to spite your mouth.
