In the last seven weeks the campaign has begun to reap the fruits, picking up new endorsements and getting close to neutralizing any advantage with organized labor that Clinton appeared to enjoy.

The only problem is Unions don't vote, people do. And even if the Unions influence the people, the pecentage of people in Ohio belonging to Unions versus the percentage of people in Ohio who don't, dosen't do much to benefit Obama in final poll numbers. If Obama wins Ohio, it's because people went to vote for him, not the unions in the state. They merely can only encourage.
Believe me I am supporting Obama as well, but this arguement is disgustingly wishful thinking. To assume the American People can be persuaded by organizations and other policians to vote is completely false. We will see tomorrow I suppose. If Clinton wins, your arguement is lost. If Obama wins, we will have to look at the exit polling to see if the majority of the voters voting or Obama belonged to a Union of some sort.
My vote is for jvjrz. If he wins Ohio, he can thank African American and college student voters. Many people, especially in rural America, aren't comfortable voting for an African American, Hispanic or any other minority to lead our country. Simply because ones union endorses a candidate doesn't mean that all union members will vote that way.

Report Offensive CommentMercifully, it seems unlikely that this will resolve by tomorrow night, so I can just vote for whoever was right.
