If you Cant make your argument in the alloted amount of time, 72 hours, you should forefit that agrument, not the entire debate.

I have been waiting a month for a reply and the individual who I am debating with has started and finished other debates. This is annoying. What is the point of having 72 hrs. to post you next argument if the time table simply resets itself after that time has expired.

People do have lives outside of typing responses to you. Maybe you should develop your argument, or come up with an appealing question so that someone will actually want to face-off with you. It took over 24 hours for someone to actually face-off with you. This debate site is mostly politics, maybe you should make a complaint to the website. Maybe you should do something that is of importance, that actually makes sense. You can start by changing your avatar. That mormon has been out of the race for long. Maybe people would want to talk to you if you weren't a Romney supporter. What is the point of having seventy two hours to post your next argument if the time table rests itself after the time has expired, you ask, well the point is to bother you. Yes, Romney the world is indeed out to get you. They want you sitting in fron of that PC for tedious hours longing for a response from your opponent. The creators of this site know your day to day mormon schedule, and know when you are on the PC the most and when you are reading Joseph Smith's bible. During this time, the rest of the world is emailed and told not enter a followup response to any Romney supporters such as yourself.

First of all my political affiliation has no bearing in this debate. Your Romney remarks are analogous to me making a racial remark about Obama.
First of all, How long does it take to type a response? 20 - 30 minutes at the most! Maybe maybe 20 to do the reasearch and another 10 to type the argument.
Second of all, I understand that people have lives outside of elephant-donkey. I am acutally one of those people. Did you read my first argument? I said that my opponent has started and finished other debates. Yeah, I said debates, plural. This proves that this individual is not on vacation and that he/she is not tied up with other things. What is the point of having a set amount of time if the time table resets itself after the time has expired.

The reason I started this debate is becuase I wanted my tardy opponent to see this debate and type a response. You know who you are. I dont think that we can make complaints to the website. The only thing we can do is report an offensive comment. Maybe I'm mistaken... does anybody know if there is a way to file a complaint with E-Donk? I haven't been able to find one yet.

Wow, Crimo needs to relax! First off, to call Romney a mormon and make personal attacks on your opponent shows that you yourself have no arguements to make purtaining to the topic at hand. Maybe you should have to follow the rules like everyone else. If the website says 2 days to the remaining arguement then there should be two days remaing to that arguement. 48hrs. is definitly enough time to write a responce. If the person can't do it, than they should lose the arguement. I can see the "life happens, **** happens" arguement if it was on a serious thing, but arguing on elephant-donkey.com is in no way a life or death situation. It is not even remotely serious. ONe debate even went on for a week and a half about who is the best superhero. This site is not only about political opinions, it's about how well someone can argue. And you can't argue worth a damn. All you have are opinions, no facts. Find a local library and quick, maybe you might learn somethings there.
