Democratic Super Delegates should call for the contested nomination be resolved by "America's Ultimate Challenge" -- a Pikes Peak Ascent.

Imagine, if you will, this news story:

The long and winding road for the Democratic presidential nomination is taking a surprising turn as it heads toward the convention in the "Mile High City", Denver, CO.

Democratic Super Delegates are calling for the contested nomination be resolved by "America's Ultimate Challenge": a 10 mile race up Colorado's Pikes Peak.

One party official says, "By having Hillary and Barack take on this 7,700 vertical feet accent, we are going to redefine what it means to run for President."

In Iraq, John McCain, bench pressing an armored Humvee, said he was ready to take on the winner of the Democrat's race in an Ultimate Fighting Championship.

"Only the winner in The Octagon is fit to be the commander-in-chief of the Pentagon" claimed McCain.

This is pure crazy!

We all know Obama would win in a foot race, have you seen hillarys thighs. This wouldnt even be a contest. HillDog has no chance!

It would leave poor hillary at an unfair advantage if they raced, plus when McCain comes into play he will get blown out of the water, that man is seconds away from kicking the bucket there is no way he could endure a test of strength.

If we were going to open this up to physical ability then I think Mitt Romney would have been our president, unless of course, chuck norris and huckabee could have tag teamed it.

Anyway this is unfair to hillary again because shes older and a little on the heavy side, have you seen those thighs!

1. The policy differences between the two Democratic hopefuls are small. We need to make our decision based on the candidate's character -- and a physical challenge is a good measure of character.

2. Clinton and Obama each say that their universal heath care plan is best. But how healthy are they, themselves? Obama appears to be fit, but he only just stopped chain smoking Clinton has maintained her figure and/or weight very well. McCain? Well, just look at his 95 year old mother! They all need to be proven as "Fit to be President".

3. People want a president who is healthy because if you???re healthy you can think right.??? said former Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich. (He also said "I'm 60 years old... my wife is 29. You draw your own conclusions.")

4. Let's look at the last great American president: JFK. Kennedy had a slogan ???Let's get this country moving again???. While he was referring to the problem of unemployment, it could just as well have been said as part of his notable work to encourage physical fitness. The race between Hillary and Barack up Pikes Peak will set the example for all of America. We are ready now to "get this country moving again???.

1. for your first point you say that the difference between the 2 democrats is small thats why we need a physical challenge, but you also argued for a physical challenge with McCain... are you saying there are small differences between McCain and the democarat winner?

2. What are you trying to prove with the fit to be president, they all have benefited from a health care plan, wait they all have benefited from the same healthcare plan so this wont show distinctions between their individual plans! They arent curentely living under their proposed plans.

3. Not sure what you were getting at with your third point.

4. With your last point you reffer to JFK who obviously is similar to Obama both in ideology and they also look like they could be brothers (maybe twins??) This race is set up for an Obama win! Hill Dog has no chance what so ever... I change the argument to a BAKE OFF!!!!!!!

1. While the Democratic Super Delegates propose a dignified Pikes Peak Ascent for Obama and Clinton, McCain butted in and upped the ante with a challenge to the winner to the Ultimate Fighting Championship. There is a broad difference between Obama, Clinton and Panamanian born Juan McCain.

2. Senators Obama and Clinton both benefit from a government run health plan already. Why not let everybody buy into the same health care plan senators and congressmen give themselves? But that is besides the point. "People want a president who is healthy because if you're healthy you can think right." Kucinich said it best.

3. Kucinich is 60 years old and his wife is 29. No point in mentioning that, really, except to point out that Kucinich is 60 years old and his wife is 29.

4. The Super Delegates should consider your suggestion of a Bake Off but in addition to, not a replacement for the Pikes Peak Ascent.

5. There is no #5.

WHat did you do just copy and pste some of you points from the argument above, you said a few things twice, guess they were extra important.

I believe that is completely against the islam religion to run up pike peak, and since you believe like colbert that Obama is a "secret muslim" then I think this is unfair and unthinkable!! It was set in the constitution that there shall be no religious test to be president, and this in a way could be a test of Obamas faith, this is unfair!!!!

Wow i cant believe that i said that

"I change the argument to a BAKE OFF!!!!!!!" That is funny on so many levels. 1st of which is that we are engaged in a "face off". I will proceed to win this debate by stuffing your face with my homemade baked goods!

wow. i know i would like to vote on this but it is the stupidest debate i have ever seen. we don't elect people based on their physical capabilities. we elect them based on their plans, mind, thoughts, ideologies, record...etc.
