Hillary Clinton is not qualified to be President !

Hillary Clinton had no experience that qualifies her to be president. She has only been a senator for 6 years and has done nothing during that time to distinguish her as an effective leader. Furthermore her claim to executive experience is bogus. The only way you get executive experience is by being elected to an executive position.

I believe the sum of our current President???s experience was running a few failed companies and holding the least powerful gubernatorial seat in the nation. But perhaps you???re not arguing this as a partisan, in which case it???s worth noting that John F. Kennedy won, and seemed to do ok, with two more years of Senate service than Hillary and a little time in the House. Or that, by your calculus, John Edwards and Barack Obama are even less qualified than HRC. No, Hillary may be many things, but unqualified is not one of them.

Great point!!! George Bush did not have a lot of experience so the next president should not have any either because this one has worked out so well. The fact that George Bush did not have any experience should be proof that we need a president who has not only proven executive experience, not being married to one, some knowledge of the world, and some legislative abilities. Hillary Clinton is only a contender because of her last name she has done nothing qualify her for president. As far as President Kennedy goes I hate to burst your bubble but read a history book Kennedy did not do anything. He gets points because he inspired us not because he led us. And yes my calculus does say that neither Edwards or Obama have the experience as well. One more thing the reason health care reform failed in the 90s was because Hillary was involved. So the only policy that she has ever proposed as part of the executive failed. What a great record. Your move......

Clearly you only approve of civic administration as a qualification for the White House. So your ideal candidate is... Huckabee? Romney? Being a governor or mayor gives you experience managing a budget, but that budget is likely 1/50th the size of the federal monster. It also means the extent of your foreign policy is likely a freshwater fisheries agreement with rogue states like Vermont. Experience in the Senate, and to a lesser degree Congress, allows people to get a macro understanding of the weird organism that is the United States. You have to coalition build with the same people you'd need to vote with you as President. And while you point out that HRC's only attempt at federal legislation failed, how many sprawling pieces of legislation have Romney/Huckabee/Giuliani proposed? You don't think there'd be a learning curve during their first two years in the White House? Again, you can go after HRC for any number of things, but she'd know how to run the federal government from day one of her administration.

Stop avoiding the issue. The issue is that Hillary Clinton is not qualified to be president. Yes it is true that being in the senate causes people to build consensuses but which ones has she built in the senate? Goose egg. The only reason anyone is supporting her is because of her last name, in hopes that Bill will run the show. Good idea change the constitution, I'll support four more years of Bill just not Hill. She has done nothing in the senate to distinguish herself. Being the first lady while important does not prepare you to be President, being a senator for six years does not prepare you to be President. We do not vote for senators for a reason. I have no doubt that Clinton might win the Presidency, but if she does expect it to be more divisive than the current one. I predict that a second Clinton will not rival the first in accomplishments. Clinton feels as if she is entitled to the Presidency Thomas Dewey thought he was, and did not when. George Bush thinks he is and he has been a failure. History does not repeat itself but humans often make the same mistake of Hubris. Congrats looks like you will win.

I think you're making too many points, and I'd be happy to debate some of those separately. But on the strict question of qualifications, six years in the Senate--including time served on the budget and armed services committees--absolutely qualifies someone to run the federal government.

Hillary insists on controlling those venues in which she appears. She has not appeared at Yankee Stadium because, of course, she would be roundly booed. Perhaps she wishes she would not have shown up on stage at the benefit Concert for New York where she was booed off the stage. In those public venues in which Queen Hillary appears, she gets "a little help from her friends." Those friends are affectionately known as the "goon squad." Patrick Halley is someone who proudly is in charge of the goon squad.Halley admits what he's done is somewhat amazing. His goons are sprinkled throughout the crowd for Hillary appearances "so there was always someone able to respond quickly." "Less genteel souls sometimes referred to them as goon squads," he writes his new book. "But I objected to that term. I was proud of the fact that not one of them had ever been arrested," he boasts. Halley said he prefers the term "etiquette squad" to describe the Clinton goon squads, but he admitted that "they could certainly be intimidating if the occasion called for it." "The make-up of the etiquette squad differed from event to event, and I always found it best to use folks who were indigenous," he explained. "After all, you wouldn't want to send a team of broad-shouldered teamsters into an event at a women's college." Halley claims that he "never advocated physical confrontation and always insisted that the etiquette squad stay within the boundaries of the law." But then he confesses, "Sadly, but inevitably, things sometimes got a little frisky, but my recruits knew how to handle themselves."

she should answer this growing list of scandals: *The $100,000 cattle futures scam. For her to have earned this money legally, she wold have had to have beaten astronomical odds. Some suspect the futures deal was actually a form of money laundering, carried out during a time of major manipulation of the cattle futures market. *Her role in the White House travel office firings, which led to the false prosecution of the office's head which, if not illegal, was despicable enough behavior to bar her from any position of public trust. *Her deceptive testimony to a House investigating committee in which she said "I don't recall" or its equivalent 50 times in a 42 paragraph statement. *Her still undetermined role in the Castle Grande land scam in which she was billing partner to Webster Hubbell who has plead guilty in the case. *Her role in the obtaining and misuse of some 900 FBI personal files on key Republicans, as dirty a political act as any carried out by Richard Nixon.

Just to rebutt a point made about the lack of accomplishment of the JFK administration, he led this country through a very frightening time in the Cold War, during his administration the nation came the closest it ever has been to engaging in nuclear war during the "Cuban Missle Crisis," and he sucessfully brought us back. He was also president during a time when the soviets had a corner on space, and he drove America to challenge the soviet supremacy and explore space. Sure, JFK's presidency involved more inspiring of the people than concrete policy, yet inspiring a nation suh as the United States to launch a space program is no small achievement. Additionaly, Kennedy didnt even complete his first term before he was assasinated, if he had lived I feel we would have seen a lot more "hard policy" come from him.
