Hillary, a champion for Women and African American causes

Hillary appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and announced an unprecedented plan to find a cure for breast cancer during our life time. "I've had so many friends, and we all know people who survived and people who haven't. And I just think we should set a goal of curing breast cancer within the next decade,??? said Clinton on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. ???We should make it absolutely totally curable, and I also really want to try to figure out what causes it, because we just don't know why some people are susceptible. I think it's probably a combination of your genes and your environment and your behavior, but we don't know quite how all that fits together and we haven't done enough research, and we also have to get to universal healthcare, which means quality, affordable healthcare for everyone.???

Now we all know that this is Clinton's passionate issue... Health care. The renowned DR. Maya Angelou takes her hat off for Clinton on many issues affecting women and African Americans and/or both. "Hillary Clinton will not give up on you and all she asks of you is that you do not give up on her" says Dr Angelou on an article posted on Senator Clinton's page, go to the Clinton website.

The crux of your argument is that Hillary went on a tv show and made a campaign promise and some author has given her support. As much as I can tell this is not a argument for Hillary Clinton as a champion of anything except her own political campaign. I love how your argument ends with "Go to her site"

Research into the causes and treatments of breast cancer has been going on for decades. Every year people around the globe participate in "Walks for the cure" and so on. Nobody in their right mind would purposefully take any other view on this argument.

A real "Champion for Women's Causes" would tackle issues such as reproductive health, ensuring against non-discrimination, the role of NOW in public policy, healthcare affordability,

You clearly missed the boat. Going on Ellen's show is not the crux of my argument, but the substance thereof. It is interesting that all of a sudden people have forgotten about Hillary's role in fighting for women's rights, health and equality. conviniently most you you have. She has refused to be influenced by lobyists whom you think should be at the centre of her causes. The fact that research on breast cancer started decades ago does not strenthen the argument that she must not continue with the fight towards finding a cure. Same as those who continue to find solutions to Aids, and other kinds of Cancer. Get over yourself HAHAHAOHWOW. We all know that the reason you on top of the leaderboard is you obsession to oppose everything that everyone says... start your own argument so we can see your level of debth when it comes to initiating debates.

7 months remaining for the next argument...

Pat you just might as well forefit haha is the man. you also need to learn that there is a difference between Hillary's image and the real Hillary. I admit that I am bias but I will vote for the best debator and promiss to set my personal feelings aside.

Well, I guess even McCain has an image. He pretends to be far more conservative than he really is.

I fail to see how electing Clinton as president would have any effect at all on the progress of cancer treatment. Also your subsequent attack on your opponent merely underlines that you have little ammunition for an actual debate.

Hillary seems to have a strange attraction towards setting dates on issues that cannot be timetabled. It's as though Da Vinci said "everyone will know the earth goes around the sun by 1750". Such a declaration would be idiotic, but that is what Hillary claims when she says "lets cure it in a decade".

HAHA, you could simply tell jokes the rest of the way and win this debate hands down. Nice job jumping on this one before anyone else caught it. Kudos.

I find it funny that patsaid believes universal healthcare is "quality" and "affordable". I have a lot of family from Canada, which as most of you should know has universaly healthcare. It may be "affordable" (unless you count the large portion of your check that gets taken away by the state if your middle or upper class) but it is definently not "quality". From what they've said, you don't pick your doctors so you may get an unexperienced doctor whether you like it or not. Also, you wait a substantial amount of time, even when dealing with emergencies. I don't see how universal healthcare helps everyone?

Hillary a champion of Women and African American causes, sounds like PC for Hillary the one who wants to keep the Woman and Black voting blocs intact.

Mark, I respect your decision to vote for Haha..., I think your approach is what we need on these debate platforms. You thought Haha's argument was stronger and that is what you based your vote on. The danger about that though is that you may overlook the fact and your gutt and choose to go with the guy who makes up a sound good argument e.g Bush and Collin Powell sent us on a war base only on a good argument not on facts, guess what happened. So...what is my point? I'm simply saying, I respect you for your decision but it may not always work as some good arguments are based on nothing. To everyone else, I wish you will stick around when we crown Hillary the DNC nominee in August.

Taking Hilary seriously for going on a TV show and announcing a plan to "cure breast cancer" is as ludicrous as worshiping my because, today, on elephant-donkey.com, I announced a plan to CURE AIDS BY TOMORROW.* It's a lame campaign promise that even the most optimistic person cannot truly take seriously. *actual results may vary
