Now this is a debate I dont mind loosing. Firstly, There was never a chance for this Obama guy to even become the nominee. All he has done through out his campaign has been to repackage everything that Hillary and Edwards have said and say it a little bit poetic. Secondly, he continues to win the small states that are already in the bag for Dems and struggles to make a convincing showing on the difficult and big states where Republicans are strong. The results proove that Hillary is tougher and stronger when it comes to battle grounds. But everyone knows that you will not leave because for now, it looks like you may just win this thing. I suppose you dont mind the humiliation. I give it to you, you brought charisma and euphoria into this year's campaign and we thank you for that. I used to like you, especially when you won the race for Illinois' senator in 06' but after listening to your arguments, I just thought you were very weak. wet behind the ears and fragile. But hey, its your call.

First, all Hillary has done is recycle the same Democratic Party talking points (more jobs only for certain types of workers; tax the rich more; eliminate tax cuts; raise capital gains tax; have government pay for health care; etc.) for the past eight years, and even before then.
Then she changed her mind (i.e., Iraq) and said whatever was seemed popular among her constituency. But I'm being redundant, as that IS the same Democratic Party strategy for the past eight (and longer) years.
Also, since when have Virginia, South Carolina, Nebraska, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Colorado, and Georgia (to name a few) been 'small states already in the bag for Dems' during a General Election? Seems to me the GOP usually depends on most of those states, half of which have been 'swing' states the past two elections. Also, it doesn't matter if Hillary wins battleground states now -- she's battling another Democrat.
Last, you said 'after listening to [Obama's] arguments, I just thought [he was] very weak.' Yet before that, you said, 'All [Obama] has done throughout his campaign has been repackage everything that Hillary. . . [has] said, and say it a little bit poetic.'
I rest my case.

Allow me to expand on the point of Obama's threat. 1), he claims to have a plan to return troops immediately, but the detail is found wanting. 2) he, as I said, repeats everything Hillary has crafted on economic recovery, health and security, Not democrats but Hillary's plan. 3), we need the battle ground states now, so as to get ready for the November election. If your advice is that let us not care about them and only get surprised in November, clearly you have a different way of strategising for elections. The latest is Obama now deciding he will insult the small towns by calling them "bitter" as a result of thier economic situation, hence clinging to guns and religion. The guy is simply frustrated and cannot take the pressure. So you need an artificial presidential nominee like that... believe me he will be eaten alive by McCain.
It is a fact that Republicans are clinical when it comes to big states and issues such as guns and religion. On religion, Obama will loose Florida agianst McCain. He will loose the Jews in Florida and Pennsylvania. He has done dismally when it comes to Hispanics in states like New Mexico, California, Colorado and Arizona. Hillary has excelled.

You say that Obama ''is simply frustrated and cannot take the pressure'' -- and yet he is still WINNING against the candidate, amongst their own party, whom you seem to think is a much stronger campaigner.
So your rationale is. . . Hillary is the strongest, toughest, grittiest campaigner between the two remaining democratic candidates---but only when it's against republicans. Thus, Obama should be happy with the fact that he's winning against this alleged republican-slayer, but not happy enough to defeat her when he has a chance.
Actually, the latest news is Clinton telling 'small-town' PA media and residents that the last time she fired a gun and attended church ''is not a relevant question in this debate.''
CNN.com reports: ''We can answer that some other time,'' Clinton said at a press conference held in a working class neighborhood here. ''This is about what people feel is being said about them. I went to church on Easter. I mean, so?''
Wow, she really IS in touch with working-class, small-town midwesterners. That's just the no-nonsense answer they want to hear.
Obama and Clinton have the same Iraq plan, which is why it sounds so similar. Pull out while it's popular.

I do hope that this is not your first election that you are following. If you look at the way elections turn out (trends), the fact that there is a front runner means nothing and may not reflect the outcome. Since President Cutter, all these presidents never led the primaries. In fact, Bill Clinton was 3rd and only wrapped up the nomination in June. George Bush is another case in point. So your argument about Obama leading does not fly, that is why its not over yet, a nominee has not been selected yet. Yes I do think that Dems need someone stronger, if they are to stand any chance against Reps in November, and Obama is the most vulnerable of the three. I read the story on CNN and other networks'websites. I agree with Sen Clinton, those were irrelevant. But you must read the same story on Politico.com.

I think you meant that you hope this IS my first election, which would explain my (alleged) lack of sophisticated general-election knowledge.
The fact that there is a front-runner in terms of delegates, by April, usually does mean (s)he will achieve the nomination for his or her party. I know it's hard for you to believe, but I'm not just making this up. Though there is suspense now, I doubt even the Democratic Party will be foolish enough to go against its own popular vote come the summer convention.
I mean, who would be blamed for voter disenfranchisement? Who would face allegations of voter intimidation? Who would be accused of unfair gerrymandering at the last minute? I cannot foresee Democrats putting themselves in a position where they'd have to use these sour grapes against a non-republican.
And how can Clinton say that her own church-attendance and experience with guns are irrelevant when SHE is the one who won't let go of Obama's ''bitter'' comment against traditional, mid-western Americans?
She's basically saying that PA voters should lose respect for Obama for not being in touch with their values---but that her own connection to those values don't matter.
"There was never a chance for this Obama guy to even become the nominee" Except that he's got more people who have voted for him than Hillary. (counting Michigin/Florida)

How are guns and religion irrelevant? These have been key issues since the foundation of this country. The supreme court is currently deliberating on the first case to deal with the second ammendment in over fifty years. Her policies on gun-control are vital knowledge for the public. While there is a seperation of church and state, a candidates religious and moral values will influence their entire presidency. How could her church attendance be unimportant when it will give a clearer view of her values, though we can probably guess what her views are.
