Hillary Clinton is dishonest

Hillary stated that she was under sniper fire while getting off the plane in Bosnia and she even had to duck down and try to get to safety. When there clearly is a video of her getting off the plane then being greeted with FLOWERS by a young girl. How can we trust her, when she has used such a bold lie?

This is an apt example of the politics the candidate your display picture exhibits wishes to abolish. Obama???s campaign has hinged from the outset on the promise of a new kind of politics, claiming the ???old Washington textbook campaigns just won???t do in this election.??? Yet rather than Clinton???s comments be seen, and aptly treated, as a simple mistake made, she has been accused of lying. This seems ironic for while supporters of Obama so passionately call for a new generation of politics hinged on hope, not hurt, with their left hand, their right hand seems intent on employing the very tactics they seem to denounce. Moreover if one were to base Clinton???s integrity solely on one admittedly misspoken comment, than it would only be fair to judge Obama the same. With this flawed logic one would cite Obama???s admitted misspoken ???bitter??? comment; on the one hand he identifies with downtrodden rural Americans while campaigning, and yet on the other ridicules them while in a distinctly non-rural venue. Ultimately how one perseveres through adversity, and strives to improve oneself; should be paramount to any voter, and would certainly find a place in the hope of a new, better political era.

I am not Obama, although I support him, I am not him. He is better than me, he never commented on that Bosnia bogus story, but that doesn't mean I won't. Obama's mispoken bitter comment was mispoken, it wasn't a lie. He even explained what he meant, Hillary on the other hand made a blatant lie. She said she was under SNIPER FIRE, when she really was WELCOMED, SHOOK HANDS WITH, and RECIEVED FLOWERS. She makes it sound like an accident, and it could happen to anyone with a lack of sleep. I'm sure if one were under sniper fire, one would not forget such an occasion.
I denounce dirty politics yes. But when a candidate says a deliberate lie in such a vast difference from what really happened, I just feel I can't trust the candidate, especially if they don't explain themselves, all she said is she made a mistake, it can happen in the trail.
I know several Hillary supporters who don't want to vote for Hillary anymore because they have lost her trust. I'm simply stating a characteristic, by all means vote for her, she has good qualities as well. I'm just stating she was dishonest.

I realize that you are not Obama, moreover I never presumed to state that you were a supporter of him, a bias you yourself have now divulged; I merely referenced him in your display picture. Furthermore I do not count myself among Senator Clintons supporters, I DO however count myself in the ranks of independent voters who are concerned about the addressing of legitimate issues, not personalized and petty attacks levelled at candidates based on interpretation. Your disputation claiming Clinton, ???made a blatant lie??? is based on your own perception. And as much as I revel in your, and mine own, freedom to express opinions such as this, I do NOT think it justifies the entire characterization of a person because of it. Ultimately all you have done is reiterate what was largely already known, that it is your personal belief that Senator Clinton is dishonest, a belief which, as you clearly reinforced, seems to be based on one comment which to you is a lie, but to others may be a simple mistake; once again a matter of interpretation. I for one, do not subscribe to this style of negative branding, I do however firmly believe that it is most undeserving, unjustified, and inexcusable.

If you want to make a case for Hillary's dishonesty than try some more substantial issues like Iraq and NAFTA. She says she has been a "critic" of the Iraq war and "warned against" it in attempt to distance herself from Bush's unpopular war. However, she voted for the Iraq War Resolution that authorized the war. She event claimed on Meet the Press that saying that bill was a vote for war was "unfair". The title of the bill was "Authorization for Use of Military Force Against Iraq Resolution of 2002" and clearly stated what the title states. On NAFTA, she says the same things as she does about Iraq, yet an examination of her record shows support for NAFTA. In a nutcase, she's not willing to own up to mistakes she's made and instead tries to pretend they never occurred. Atleast John Edwards came out and said that voting for the war was a mistake and that we was wrong... Hillary really has damaged her credibility throughout this race.
