Look at what kids are learning in school. A well endowed fruit is a good substitute for a real man that always rides bareback. It won't do.

We get the drift of what kids are taught in public school when we see the standardized test scores. Or, better yet, when we ask them.
Beside, sex education rarely teaches anything beyond abstinence anymore. The attitude is now, "Refuse to abstain? Figure it out for yourself."
And I imagine many women would prefer the well-endowed fruit anyway.
The protection is remarkably effective, as a matter of fact. The pill is a highly effective and incredibly available effective birth control method, and condoms are cheaper (my school gives them out to anyone who has a permission slip or is at the age of majority if they ask for them) and if used properly, as effective--and they help prevent STD. Abstinence isn't a foolish personal policy, but is naive to assume that abstinence will catch on--sex is pretty popular around teens these days (and all past days), and hell, I think even the President and most government officials like a nice shag every now and again.

Report Offensive Commentok they protect against pregnancy, which is what the act is supposed to preclude, but they don't protect against STD's, all i ever learned was that they reduce the likelyhood of getting an STD and effectively reduce you and people who get them to a statistic, that's not protection against something that you'll have for the rest of your life, that's excusing the fact that it happens anyways, despite this "protection".

This year, close to 90 ships have been seized in and around the Gulf of Aden, more than triple the number of 2007
(Jason R. Zalasky / US Navy / EPA )
all we learn in sex ed is that since we're going to do it anyways we should use protection, oh and by the way the protection doesn't really work that well.
