Experience is not the most major factor

Many people think that experience is what matters the most. How about views on issues? How about what they say or what their personality is like?
Experience may help but it is not the most major factor, especially if this experience consists of several mistakes.
Experience is not what people should mostly base their votes on.

Well... it depends on what. I will assume you are talking about politics reading by your last sentence, in fact I will narrow it down to Obama vs Clinton. I think anybody can and has the right to theorise and sound intelligent, but Its easier and much comforting to listen to someone who says "I have done it, I've been there". If your proposed solutions are based on your experiance, you've got my vote. If your solutions are based on just being a by-stander, forget it.

Do you support the war in Iraq? Most people not only think it was badly done but also that we need to get out of there. George Bush retaliated the 9/11 attacks by going into Afghanistan, which was a bold and intelligent move, he was praised for that. So does that mean that any other decisions on foreign policy from him will result in something good? Not necessarily, since the Iraq War in fact, was done poorly.
If proposed solutions are based on your judgements that should be far greater than the proposed solutions based on your not only perhaps different experience but also contradicting experience.
It's far easier to listen to someone who has been in the right judgement the entire time, than someone with contradicting judegement with plenty of experience.

Youngdem about 80% of your latest input has nothing to do with the experiance subject.I try and avoid taking on debates about the war. Anyway let me focus on this issue. Experiance on its own (I agree) does not mean anything but (Experiance supported by a well thought plan and much needed energy and passion) is better than (a well thought plan supported by energy and passion with no experiance). I hope you follow that contrast.

In my experiance, there is no substitute for experiance. It brings about wisdom that no amount of studying and research can ever give you.

It was an example of how good experience can become bad later in the future. It was not about the war, it was about how you need consistency not experience. Now if the experience was tagged along with consistency of making the right choices and actions, then that would be good. So consistency is truly the major factor, not experience.
A well thought out plan with unconsistency and more experience is worse than a well thought out plan with consistency in making the right choice and less experience.

6 months remaining for the next argument...

Watch out, youngdem. P&L is a cheater, and may try to sabotage the voting, like (s)he did with our recent debate. Just check out our recently completed ''debate'' about being able to vote more than once. Just letting you know, be careful.

Crying foul Pit? but I must say in the spirit of fairness, I did concede in my last submission that McA gave me a solution about changing your origional vote, therefore automatically I threw the debate. But thanks for the votes anyway.

I'm pulling a liberal and saying the vote was fixed. Integrity was disenfranchised. The last half of what you just said is incoherent, although it sounded like you just admitted you cheated.
