The war in afghanistan is a truly just cause

1. there is irrefudeable proof that Osama and alot of other major terrorists were in Afghanistan.
2. The taliban were running the country and were destroying the nation
3. The people in Afghanistan needed our help to become a developed first world country

Let me begin by saying that I am all for finding bin Laden and bringing him to justice. However, considering the incredibly anti-American sentiment in the middle east, I think it is not a just cause.

The situation in Afghanistan is regressing. The area is an absolute war zone and it is becoming increasingly difficult for US soldiers to even leave their camps. The Peace Corps had to be removed from the country because it was too dangerous. until we can commit more troops to the situation in Afghanistan and make finding bin Laden our primary focus, it cannot be called a just cause.

Just because the mansy pansie peace corps has left doesn't mean the situation is regressing. Even if it is regressing that means we need to commit more troops and to help out and kill the terrorists. In all honesty, anti-american sentiment can't get much worse in the middle east so i think we should be much tougher on the terrorists

The you say we need to commit more troops to help kill the terrorist, but the terrorists essentially run the country. If we want to create a stable situation in afghanistan, we would basically have to be able to detain any and all citizens at a moments notice, and if we did that, then anti-american sentiment would get much worse.

Due to the ordeal that is Iraq, it isn't possible to commit more troops to afghanistan, and therefore, we cannot control it.

NOT TRUE!!! We can totally find more troops to commit to afghanistan. All we can divert some troops from Iraq to Afghanistan in a subtle way. We can also call on our allies to help us to secure an absolute victory in addition to our complete victory.
