McCain has failed to capitalize on the break Dems gave him before the General Election

McCain will just lose. He has looked at this lull as a holiday. Instead of using this period to turn things around for him, he has simply gone AWOL and failed to grow his popularity and acceptability by the Republicans.

The polls are not so good although they indicate a slight increase. That is because he is not running against anyone at the moment.

Republicans are just doomed. Once the Dems have a candidate and start to unify behind him/her, their bid will be the weakest in the history of their party.

McCain is arguably the hardest working candidate in this election, thanks to the infighting within the Dem party. While Obama is struggling to seal the deal on his nomination, he has been hard at work.

Firstly, he issued a couple of plans such as his economic recovery plan. He has spent time selling it to the party and to Americans. He knows he does not have as much pressure. He also knows that although he does not have much pressure, he has to win the different voting groupings (conservatives, religious, black, youth and women).

He is refining his argument on Iraq and why we should finish what we started there. He is winning.

I hate using numbers when I make an argument, but lets face it, his popularity has also improved. He is now tied with Hillary on national polls w.r.t. electability. Only in January, he was ruled out in more than 4 polls.

I think he has worked very hard and he continues to appeal to a lot of voter each day Clinton and Obama battle it out.

McCain is working hard like all the candidates we have this year. I also know that it is difficult to deal with two candidates and not knowing to whom you must target your arrows.

Lets face it, the guy has not said anything new from what he was saying when he still had contenders. He has said nothing new on Iraq. It looks like he is getting popular, but in fact, its the Democrats popularity that is in the decline because of their never ending battle.

The worst thing he has done during this period was to accept and making a big media deal about his endorsements by the Bushes. He is rather reckless.

The only thing that will save him is picking a running mate with a better appeal.

Please go to McCain's website and take a look at among other things his recently published plan on health care.

He has been on the road winning a lot of Republicans and Independents with this plan.

The mistake McCain can do is to assume that Obama will win and start contesting against Obama and ignore Clinton because he may be surprised.

McCain is yet to make a case that sets him apart from Bush and his failed policies.

He needs to work on how he is going to get the religious block, the conservatives, in both these areas, he has failed so far.

He needs help with articulating anything outside the war on terror. I think he can actually make a good Secretary of Defence.

He has proven nothing about his personality, electability and public appeal. Honestly, I think the guy is bored that he has no opponent yet.

I have read a few documents about how his campaign is planning to correct the wrongs done by the Bush administration.

I have followed his campaign, and I can safely say that he is the only one who has focused on issues and avoided negative campaigning.

The other two Dems have be just going for each other and spending very little time on solutions.

I don't think McCain is going to win the General Election because Americans are probably looking for change. They will want to try the Dems after two terms of the Republicans. But he has spent sometime to turn that around.

He will put up a good fight against the Dem nominee, but he has to wait for them to make up their minds.

Woah I wish I took this one. McCain is currently campaigning in florida. And is still very active turning his image around. On CNN today he was talking about what Jeremiah Wright said yesterday.

McCain does better not targeting either Barak or Hillary, he simply let's the two of them do his fighting, while he presents himself as an alternative Hillary and Barak can do his dirty work

McCain cannot win with his current stand on health care, the war in iraq, and energy.

McCain is campaigning and all the while lookign like the "golden boy' in this campaign because he does not get into the Hillary vs. Obama catfight that is going on.
