1)Too many people cheat. They create false accounts and then use those accounts to vote for themselves.
2)There is no way to contact tech support.
3)There are too many deliquent debators. They start debates and never finish them.

Good points, good points. Though despite those facts, we have to remember why we joined this site, we joined it to debate. Even if we are cheated against, our debating skills would improve and strengthen, we can learn alot from each other, and we may even change views.
The core values of this site is not very effected by those things you listed, your third one in a way might delay or prevent the potential gaining of experience in debating and possible learning, but we are in this site for one reason: to debate what we believe is right, just, and factual.
This site is worth using if we are prepared to argue for our views in strong intelligent arguments. What do the votes really mean? It may cause a win, lose, or tie, in this website that is just a number next to your icon. The experience you get from debating, the fact that you may convince other people and you spread your views, the core values, are not affected by votes, or tech support. This site is worth using if you signed up to debate.

1) you have stated that this website is worth using if we are prepared to arugue our views in strong intelligent arguments. I ask you, do you enjoy losing to a cheater? i am not sure if any of my oponents have cheated or not but I can be certain that there are at least two or three people on here that cheat.
2)There appears to be a set amount of time for the debate but after the time has expired it is reset. What this is perhaps one of the most anoying flaws on this website. Condi Rice cakes has started at least 7 or 8 debates and has only finished two of them because she is scared to lose and wants to keep her spot on the leader board. When some people are losing a debate they just stop debating and move on to the next debate.
Maybe its just me but this site just isn't fun anymore.

Its true the spirit of competition is dampered if you feel like you are being cheated against. But I still abide by what I said, I believe that it is still worth using if we argue our views in strong intelligent arguments. Why? Because for these reasons:
1. We improve our debating skills by debating
2. We can learn more from the opposition's view
3. We can try and help convince other people who read the debates to share your view
4. We ourselves could have our minds being changed
Those are not affected at all by cheaters.
We can't let people like Rice cakes make us want to leave this site where we debate. There is a clear solution to that, debate people you know are good debators and will abide by the rules.
This site may not be fun anymore to alot of people, but the core values of debating still exist and are not tampered with by cheaters.

Report Offensive CommentGopdiva, I've been accused as well by someone called Gainsomehonor. Check him/her, s/he is at the leaderboard. S/He claims I know him/her and I invited him/her here, untrue. I've never met the dude and have never invited anyone here. S/He can't even prove his/her accusations but just happy to drag my name into the mud. George Kremer a.k.a DEADPRESIDENTS.

Report Offensive CommentDonkeyDude proposes that we don't vote before the 6 arguments have been heard. I support him and would like everyone to join us. This will make sure that people complete their debates and not avoid finishing their debates when they are trailing in votes.
